Pick 3 Plus offers a range of exciting prizes, ranging from $50 to $500. The amount you can win depends on your play type, so you need to select a Straight or a Combo to be in the running for the top payout. Find out more about all the play types on the How to Play page.
The following table shows all the prizes that can be won in Pick 3 Plus. You can also see the odds of winning for each play type. Remember that it is a fixed $1 to play Pick 3 Plus, but Combos cost more as you are entering every possible combination.

All the prize amounts are fixed, but there is a maximum payout amount of $125,000 for each prize tier. In the unlikely scenario that the total amount due to be paid out exceeds this value, a pari-mutuel structure would take over and the $125,000 fund would be divided equally between all the winners. This would result in the winners receiving lower prizes than the advertised amount.
The New Mexico Lottery can, at its own discretion, also set liability limits for particular number combinations. The gaming system would then stop accepting wagers on that number once this limit has been reached. You would have to pick a different combination or wait until sales resumed for that number ahead of the next drawing.
New Mexico has the shortest claim period of any state in the U.S., at just 90 days, so you have to come forward fairly quickly if you win a Pick 3 Plus prize. It’s really easy to collect a prize of up to $600, though, as you just need to visit a New Mexico Lottery retailer or mail in your winning ticket. No claim form is required.
